My guess is that you are seeing oil weeping past the valve cover gasket at the front edge of the valve cover, and not oil from the DIC. If I am right, just securely tighten the screws securing the valve cover and no harm done.
The DIC is a sealed unit, although it does (I am guessing here) contain dielectric oil in which the coils are submerged . If it truly is leaking it will need to be replaced - soon.
