Since all valve cover gasket bolts are not torqued properly from factory from about mid 90 and up, you need to tighten them down again.
It is countless of cars I have seen with loose valve cover bolts.
It seems that it started with the introduction of the Torx 40 bolts instead of the older ones with 12mm hex head.
