If your brights won't stay on that's usually 'cause the headlight switch is not in the on position. All the lights, dash-front-rear, are always on switch on or switch off, but switch off the brights and fogs won't work.
You're talking about the coin holder, right? the little square with the slots in it, almost looks like a vent. Wedge some change into it.
So as to the SID, you can set the time alarm, adjust, set and cancel the speed warning, enter a distance to calculate an arrival time, enter an arrival time to calculate a needed speed for a distance?
87 is OK, your salesman's not wrong, but I notice the 10% power difference on premium on grades and I SEEM to get better mileage on premium in my Aero.
It's tough to do the sustained high rpm, high load driving that might exceed the factory break in requirements on American roads. Running in a new engine or breaking in an engine doesn't ever cause a warranty issue, that is I've never heard of a problem developing from improper break in or an excessively hard break in period. I have experienced many cars that were stronger than normal, and not babied when new. So I, like your dealer, am a "just go" guy.
