So, so....but nice, nice car....& 2.9% x 60 mos Posted by Mike Lynch [Email] ![]() ![]() In Reply to: Need your help - is this a good deal?, AlexD, Sat, 6 Aug 2005 15:18:49 Members do not see ads below this line. - Help Keep This Site Online - Signup |
The last stick 2005 9-5 Aero I had woulda' gone for only net $32,148 at the current GM Employee deal, but the 2004 you describe would have several advantages. CPO would give it an extra year or so of warranty instead of 4 years it would be 1 year old with 6 years, net 5 years remaining warranty. Plus that $32k price for a new one is no xenons, rain sensing wipers or vented seats, although the park assist is standard on 2005. Another CPO plus is Saab is offering 1.9x36, 2.9x48 and 3.9%x60 months at no charge (no loan profit either) to the dealer Expresso is a nice color too, very subtle, mostly black in all but bright light.
Re your 99 9-3 3dr, which I assume is a stick, books for $6,000 ish probably worth $3k+ if it's nice or more for an automatic with leather.
Offer them $25k and your car, $30k-$5k= $25k, plus tax and license and see if they'll let you off the lot, that is be prepared to phsically leave the dealer without raising your offer. You can always phone them and agree to their terms later, it's just that dealers don't like to let business walk off the lot.
I would wanna' know what the real story is with the car, why the low miles. CPO doesn't exclude cars being hit and fixed. Ask to see the service history. Who owned the car previously?
