I admit it is easy to be a automotive hypochondriac. Knowledge and the search there of can be a powerful and worry some aspects of automotive technology. I will back off of my worry of this topic and keep my eye on that gauge I placed above the ESP unit under the hood. I would like to test the pressure on my NG900 that just had major surgery with all rod bearing, mains, rings, head done, timing cover, oil pump gears, all chains, guilds and tensioners for both timing and balance shaft (BS was the reason to go into it 1998 NG900 106K with light sludging) Also replaced Waterpump and all hoses, thermostat. It would be currious how they compare in pressure at idle and 2000 rpm. I think the sender is easier to get to on the 900 so maybe I will give it a try also and get those readings. Thank you again. and if you have time I would like to know if you can change all the main bearings out with the engine in if I ever need to.
