I think I could speak for a lot of people in asking you guage part number and supplier as well as how did you make it fit, T-adapter fitting size etc at the starter. Are you running the original Saab sender as well. I went with a mechanical guage with a nylon tube for the oil. It is a 1.5 inch and mounted it to the right of the brake master cylinder under the hood. I did this for lack of good places in the dash without cutting and I did just want to monitor it. I used a 1/8NPT to the saab size converter that was in a European car converter kit from IEquus.com under accessories under gauges with a 1/8 npt t adapter and a 1/8 NPT sender from NAPA that triggers at 6 PSI. Factory Saab is at 4.9-7 specs. I still was challenged for room behind the starter and had to turn my T diagonal with the sender up toward the starter and the tube coming off the bottom pointing toward the bottom of the passenger tire. I then run the tube up the manifold support, tied to the positive cable accross the top of the starter then to the AT shift cable sleave to its destination. If you could give us detail information with part numbers and adapter information I would appreciate it. I wanted to go electrical but could not find one to fit. The 1.5 inch gauge is an Equus that was in a trio kit of water temp, amps and oil pressure available at Wal-Mart for $20. I also thought about using a hydraulic custom hose with a 90 degree to remote locate the sender and idiot light unit but I know the 9-5 engine has a lot of movement with the strange slider torque mount on the front of the Automatic unit and thought the thin nylon tube would be better. Thanks again for your help.
