Throttle body calibration

I posted earlier about a throttle body P1260 code. Since then I have made a few more obervations. If I reset the code it runs fine but the 1260 returns after an engine stop then start. Car seems to run fine however. Went to my Indy and he gave me a 9-5 throttle body he just replaced. I took the whole thing apart as soon as I got home. There are two pots one for the throttle position the other for the butterfly position as the openng is controled by the computer not the gas pedal. It appears that they are very well protected and the one I took apart had very clean wipers and boards. I did read somewhere that they need to be calibrated. Is this a function of the Tech2 to get both wipers tacking together or is it done manually with an ohm meter? Any help here will be greatly appreciated.
