I pull a 17 ft ski boat with mine. Probably close to 2000 lbs loaded. I've also pulled a loaded 5x8 U-haul 200 miles. No problems, but you do need to allow extra space for braking. I've read that the aerodynamics of a boat are much easier on the car as a regular closed trailer. When I pull a trailer, try not to have much weight in the car so have the family follow in the 2nd car. As for putting in and out, if the ramp is in good shape, hard surface etc. It has not been a problem for me. Do a search for trailer pulling and you'll get some other tips such as try not to work the transmission too hard: constant upshift and downshifts is what overheats the transmission. You also have a transmission warning light on the dash. Just pay attention. and don't rush it.
