When I start my 1999 9-5, The RPMs jump ALOT. Right when it starts, they go to like 1000, then down to almost 200 then back up to 800, then down to 300. By that time, I give it a little gas so the RPMs go to about 2000, then it idles alright. After driving for a minute, the idle is perfect. If I put it in reverse right away, the car jerks alot, especially if I dont hit the gas, by just letting it roll out of the garage. Also, when I turn the wheel soon after turning on the car, it makes a squeel noise and the car does the jerking thing again. Even after driving for a while, if I try to dry steer, to parallel park for instance, it squeels and gets rough.One of my friends thinks I have a vacuum leak, but I have no idea. Has anybody heard of this? Any information would be appreciated.
