I have a 1999 9-5 5sp lpt very well maintsained with 170 000 km.
I have changed pads and rotors last spring for the good parts, no cheap fix. My inner axle are fine, for the first time I've always owened saab with this problem but this one is ok for that, thank god. My tires are toyo proxes4 used but good and not assymetrically used.
I drive 50k/year, tires where balanced and rotated last week and I STILL HAVE THIS VIBRATION, especially at 100-120 km/h on cruise control, if I head up at 140 or more, the vibration goes away, but here comes the tickets! and under 100 you cant feel it as well. It does not vibrate when I accelerate or brake, it's a cruising vibration.
What is this vibration 100-120 ? ball joints ? rotors already going stripped ? my wheels are balanced but maby the mags are somewhere broken... bering ? need a sway bar?
My indy saab specialist in montreal says it's normal and all 9-5 does it. I' thinking of going back to 9000 if so.
any help is welcomed
thanks.
