It was necessary to cut a hole. I used a lid of the proper size as a template. My Dremel tool did the deed.
Obviously, the hole cannot be reversed. You have two options:
1) RECOMMENDED...sell the car with the upgrade, or 2) replace the dash and remove the wiring, pressure sensor, and plumbing upgrade. Dashes are available for $35 - $50. This approach involves a lot of work and a questionable benefit.
