Sudden throttle body failure

02 Aero, 39700 miles. Sudden throttle body failure while cruising at 80 mph. Check engine light and car stalled. It would not restart. Dealer claims it ran if you put your foot into it, but it would not run at idle. I cannot confirm this. P1230 and P1231 codes.
The car had to be towed ~130 miles to Sioux Falls (after almost a 4 hour wait) and had to wait 2 nights since the dealer was out of throttle bodies and the tow brought me in too late to have the car looked at the same day. He said they should have them since they fail often. Luckily the warrantee includes trip interruption protection. I’ll have to see how cooperative Saab actually is about this.
I have read about fuel/dirt issues. The plugs were changed and the engine de-carbed at the 30K service (almost 32K miles when it was done). Air filter couldn’t be too dirty that quickly.
