"Oil Medic" Although the web site lists it as "Coming Soon", the internal proceses for collecting the results are apparently in place. Note that they have a list of oils on their web site for which they have a baseline (virgin oil sample). If your oil is not on the list, they will accept a sample of unused oil and test it for free to put in the data base. Below is the email I received from them.
This program is designed to develop oil selection and change interval recommendations for 9-5 and 2000-2002 9-3, 2003 CV and all Viggen models.
"The Saab specific oil test is available. We are changing the web site around. To order your sample bottle package, just click on "to purchase" and select the "extended" test in the on line store.
You may also just click or paste this into your browser for the link for the online store http://www.oilmedic.com/purchase.html
Also here is the list of items in this test package:
51R Elemental Metals (24) by ICP
Water% by Crackle or FTIR
Viscosity 100C (ASTM D445)
Fuel Dilution % by FTIR
Oxidation/Nitration by FTIR
Total Base Number (ASTM D4739)
If you have any additional question, feel free to call me at 412-874-8670. I look forward to seeing your oil sample.
