I figured this out with some difficulty, after buying one for $54 from GenuineSaab. Study the new unit - behing the clear part, on the back, you will see a plastic spring catch, which obviously needs to be squeezed to release. Now remove the battery shield (2 clips) and take a strong small flashilght and look behind the old one. Through an access hole you will see that same clip and with a long small shaft screwdriver, you can just push it down to release it, push it forward, and the light will slide out with the cable for the bulb. the bulb holder turns to come out, and i did NOT figure out how to disconnect the wire connection, just exchanged the new bulb (1157a) into the old bulb holder and popped it into the new lens assembly, and then very carefully, lining up about 5 different prong type things, popped the assembly back into place. 10 minutes if you know what you are doing, one hour if you take apart everything i did trying to figure it out. Cute. Hope someone finds this useful.
