It's not standard, and was probably a phone antenna added by a previous owner. If the wire doesn't terminate in the trunk, it probably goes up front. You need to poke around under the dash, perhaps pull the radio with one of those u-shaped devices, and look for the end. The nstub on the roof is for on-star.
