I've seen some good mechanics and service departments totally ignore how the spare, tools and jack are secured. For a couple of years there even the factory didn't screw down the big plastic nut securing the mini-spare very well. A 2002 9-5 scissors jack is all the way at the back of the trunk under a strap. You have to extend the jack by twisting the end thingy by hand to secure it in the spot, wedge it in so to speak. Also there is a felt bag with the jack handle in it laying in the well and that needs to be wedged under the edge of the mini-spare. Often an extra tow hook is casually tossed in the compartment and needs to be removed. There's a spot for it in the styrofoam tool holder if there's not one in there already. I'd take everthing out, tire, tools, everthing, and put it all back securely. The salesperson could/should help you do this.

At this point in you car's life, squeaks and rattles need to be addressed quickly after puchase as there is no factory coverage, CPO or factory, for adjustments likes squeaks and rattles and it falls on the dealers good will. A 9-5 should be tight and most dealers don't have any problem at all taking care of that shortly after the sale, but months and months from now they'll get sticky thinking if it had been serious enough, you'd have gotten in sooner.
