Blue smoke on startup is usually a symptom of turbo problems. I had first experienced blue smoke at 55k. at that time pcv valve ports were drilled out. At 70k smoke started again and was cured by a turbo replacement. I'm at 128k now with no further smoke. I'm using M1 10w-30.
