Does that also include the serpentine belt and pulleys maybe?
Otherwise it sounds quite high in comparison to that when I replace the timing belt and tensioner assembly, the whole bill ends at about $600.00 with parts and labor and that is with the full labor of replacing timing belt.
I would think that a dealer would charge roughly 1/2 to 1 hour of extra labor for the tensioner and idler assembly plus parts.
That would be around the $400.00 counting high for parts and labor.
