If you're anal like me, you could
1) Check tire pressure. With colder air tire pressure will be lower
than recommended. So, add some air into the tire until tire pressure
gauge reads 35 psi or so, when the tires are cold. Of course, not a lot
of people have a compressor in their garage like I do. :-) So, if you
wanted to do so, you could add air until tire pressure is 40 psi just
to be sure. 40psi is well below the maximum pressure recommended by
tire manufacturer.
2) You could put in a lighter weight oil such as a 0W-30, if you wished,
but 0W-40, 5W-30, 10W-30 will all do well. Using synthetic oil will
help matters in the winter time.
3) Unless you live in the mountains where it snows, I don't think you'll
need Snow tires.
Given that you live in Washington State, I don't think you have much to
worry about, though. You don't need to do anything really. I'm just
anal retentive by nature.
Cheers,
jae
