The proper procedure is to hook a manual oil pressure gauge up to the engine instead of the oil pressure switch that turns on the warning light and measure the real oil pressure.
If the oil pressure is infact low it is a big chance that your car might be one of the sludge victims.
If you have a steady paper trail of all the oil chnages from day one you might be able to get the repair covered under the extended engine warranty.
But first of all, the oil pressure needs to be checked and verified. Don't drive the car until that is done. You might do more damage by driving it.
