Pulsating brake cure?

Brakes that came on my '02 Linear were fine, but very dusty. When they wore out, I had the fronts replaced with PBR pads and Zimmerman disks from Eeuroparts.com. No break in instructions came with the parts. Good part: Very little dust.

After about 10K miles, we started experiencing pulsating. Got pretty bad & I resigned myself to getting new front brakes before winter.

Then I remembered the discussion about "warped disks" on http://www.stoptech.com/tech_info/wp_warped_brakedisk.shtml. I am a little skeptical, but he seems to make sense.

Didn't find any "cure" for the problem on his site, but decided to try several hard stops. From 65 or 70 on our country road with no one in sight behind me, I made about 5 or 6 very hard stops. Took care of about 80% of the pulsating. Next time we have dry roads & no traffic, I'll do it again for the other 20%!

Anyone else have success with this?
