I can understand your dissatisfaction, and for the doubters out there, I just pulled the warranty file on this car and it is quite substantial.
I also agree that it was beyond shoddy that the demo date was not disclosed in a noticeable manner, and how that would affect warranty life.
However, I do see that the last warranty repair was:

So, looking at the mileage, you would never have made it through October anyhow. The warranty is 48 months/50000 miles whichever comes first. So October was never a possibilty considering the mileage.
My biggest concern for Saab customers in situations like this and dealing with dealerships like this is the sheer paucity of Saab dealers once you get away from the East Coast. There seems to be a lot of "suck it up, customer" attitudes where the monopoly exists; Saab needs greater market share to more adequately service vehicles and give owners and lessees a choice, even it is between the lesser of two evils.

Between the blance chain, turbo, and short block, I'm thinking sludge issues. We just did a short block, head, timing set up, turbo and all on a sludge car today.
