I have to say I find it disturbing that you self proposed expert on SAABs put down the 1999 model year 95. I happen to drive one that I hope to sell as a used vehicle some day. With 104,000 miles on the clock and only routine maintenance I fail to see any problems associated with this model year. You and others continue to bash the 1999 model year and therefore depreciate the value of our cars and of course run off potential buyers. Also mine was built 5/98 so it's an early 1999. SAAB 95's have good track records overall. A buyer should condider the merits of the car at issue raher than be "generalized" away from any particular year due to gross and misleading generalizzations based on "this board". I've driven SAABs exclusively since 1983. Currently I own a 95 and a Viggen. Further I do a good bit of wrenching on street rods. I fail to see any inherit problems in the 1999 model year, of course I'm no expert.Dan
