I am getting schooled all over the mountains of Colorado with my 99 Saab wagon and I have excellent snow tires. I am missing my Subaru strictly for it's unprecedented winter driving performance and am wondering if I made the right choice with the Saab given my lifestyle and job which keeps me in the mountains several days a week. Today, luckily, I made it up I-70 without having to install chains. A few weeks ago it was a different scenario and I was stuck on the sideof the highway while Subaru's drove by. But my Saab is still pretty good I guess...But I am considering studs.
