I don't know what tires you've got on your car, but I have no problem driving the same roads you're on in CO. I drove all the way fron NM to Highlands Ranch in last April's blizzard that shut down I-25. They wouldn't let me get on I-25 south of Pueblo, so I took a bunch of side roads that were worse! I went over a pass where most cars and SUVs were parked. I came down through Morrison into the Denver area doing between 35-40 mph. I even plowed up my street in over a foot of snow (using my spoiler) with my 2-wheel drive, sport-suspensioned wagon.
