to one of two places. Originally it went to a small barb on the valve cover fitting. One of the later PCV changes (the one I reversed) had this hose connect to a new brass fitting drilled into the oil fill tube.
The check valve in this hose is important (although prone to failure due to age and temperature) and should be retained. I moved this hose back to the valve cover fitting, and moved the small rubber cap from the valve cover fiting to the oil fill tube fitting as part of my reversal.
The check-valve I removed was cut into the 1/2-inch hose from the oil trap to the turbo inlet. I replaced it with a barbed hose connector rather than buy a new hose.
I recommend you go to the genuinesaab website where they have all the PCV TSB's shown on the Service Information page, and follow the history from change #1 to the latest change. This will familiarize you with the entire sequence of events and you will see and better understand what I removed and relocated.
Good luck. I hope your oil consumption problem is this easy to ameliorate.
