I had a non-repairable chip in my 1999 9-5 factory windshield two years ago and consulted SaabNet for advice. Most opinions said to go with the OEM Sekurit brand as superior, and I wanted to be sure the perimeter glare masking pattern, UV absorption, tinting, etc. was the same, so I demanded this from my insurance company and their selected installer complied with no surcharge (I actually got it for less than $100!!). Having had to wrestle a blower motor out from under the bottom edge of the windshield a year later, I wondered if the install might have been a little off and left me with less than the original clearance. I've had no major complaints, other than wondering if a quality PPG windshield would have pitted less by now? Best of Luck..
