Or just a paper clip! Posted by ChuckD [Email] (#2127) [Profile/Gallery] (more from ChuckD) on Sun, 15 Jan 2006 22:40:48 In Reply to: Re: among other xenon problems......., T Randell, Fri, 13 Jan 2006 07:10:34 Members do not see ads below this line. - Help Keep This Site Online - Signup |
Not sure if it was you who originally posted this. If so, much thanks!
I tho, not being of necessarily sound mind, took a heavy guage paperclip, straightened it and then folded it in half. Then with a pair of needlenose, I bent it to a squared "U" shape to lay over the separation between the two fuse slots. Plugged the fuses back in, et voila!
It's been a couple months now and I use the high beams everyday (judisciously, of course). No problems and it truely is 'the light of day'. Reminds me of when I modded the wiring in a 240SX (per D. Stern's instructions) and installed 80/100 euro-specs.
Thanks again.
C.
