THank you for all the input. Very helpful. Seems the general consensus is to go with the 2002. I actually just got back from the local Saab dealer - just test drove an '02 Aero they've had sitting on the lot. It's got 62,000 miles, so not a CPO car, but clean and drove well. Doesn't have any of the fancy options (vented seats, parking assist, no xenon's, etc.) but they are asking $15,900 w/out warranty, and will sell me an aftermarket GM warranty good for 24months or 30k miles for around $2400 on top of price of car. They salesmen is checking on the service records and calling me back. Hopefully 60k mile service has been done - if not will ask them to take care of it. Does this seem like a reasonable deal to get this car for around $18,000? Is the two year warranty worth $2400? any suggestions are greatly appreciated. thanks.
