Good luck!--Maybe some one else can report on how to get the back panel down with less effort than I did, after all the fasteners are off, without the feeling that something is about to break off. I did have some kind of plastic piece break-off, it contained a ridged plastic screw-type thing that did not screw that and went in to the metal of the door. Its absence does not seem to be causing any rattle. I never did figure out how that was to be freed. X-ray vision would have really helped.
Funny to hear about two of these so soon. in my case, the failure came after a lot of moistrue and cold ttemps, the latch jameed locked while I was loading the wagon and I probably caused the sensor to break by improperly freeing the latch by brute force.
