I just received a newsletter from a Saabnet advertizer that is offering one, with the claim that I'll see the trapped metal particles caught by the magnet if I cut the filter apart after my next oil change.
Two questions; first, would the trapped metal particles caught on the outer perimeter of the oil filter have been on their way into the filter, or out of it? I'm guessing they're on the way out, but want to check. Next, um, oh I forget. :-)
So, who has one?
