I'm going to do something extremely unusual on the board. I'm going to defend the west side dealer.
The sense I get from working with them is that they do give a care that these cars run well. I have found them to be honest also. I have found for example that everything they told me about 'bad gas' seemed to be the truth. Although I admit I can't reconcile my experience with Scott's.
They aren't perfect, but I've had far worse service experiences at the Nissan dealership across the street.
I think the key is to communicate clearly, persistently, and respectfully. Make yourself the customer that they want and they will want you. Act like a jerk and they'll hope you go across the river.
