Saab decided to run the precious metal NGK PFR6H-10 plugs for 40K miles in the Aero (45K in 2004).
As usual it doesn't really make sense since that plug is also installed in other models as well and they have kept the 30K change interval. So why the more potent engine in the Aero can wear the plugs less, I don't know.
It is lots of posts back and forth if they are better or not.
They do hold up though and doesn't really need to be regapped during their lifespan but many have said it feels like they don't get as much turbo boost out of them as when they use the BCPR6ES (or 7).
But those plugs needs to be regapped ones in awhile if you want to keep peak performance since they wear down quicker.
