I bought a 2001 9-5 sedan last week after my beloved 9000cs was totalled. My 9-5 is a 2.3 LPT w/ 5spd and 67k miles. I must say that I am REALLY impressed with this car - the controls are lighter and more ergonomic, the car has more low-end grunt, rides better and handles flatter in corners. Only negatives are the seats are slightly less firm and it has no hatchback, but small price to pay for all the other improvements. I think you will be pleasantly suprised.
