Three Saabs in 4 years...here's my story.
#1-- 2002 9-3 SE.... Lived in NYC at the time...absolutely loved it. Great in the snow (way better than the A4 Quattro I had previously) and super cool in every way. Regretfully gave it up at lease-end for ....
#2-- 2005 9-3 SS Arc... More "refined" that the '02 but kinda bored me and I saw 3 on every block when I moved to LA in Feb '05. After one year and only 8000 miles I got the itch for something new.... The dealer bought out my balloon lease and put me in....
#3-- 2006 9-5 Sport... The "bomb"...everything I missed about the '02 was back and then some. I know that many of you have reservations about the new look (esp. the front) but i got mine in Black, and IMHO it is the best color for the new styling. Super comfortable ventilated charcoal seats...Onstar (unfortunately), and XM radio on the awesome audio system. And... I have yet to see another '06 9-5 on the streets of LA.
Yup...the '05 9-3 was a nice car but it was not really a Saab in my book.....just a better than average GM automobile. This 9-5 is the real deal....it puts a smile on my face each day.
