Gentlemen, Dean et Al - a question about ohms

Last night, after much thought and guidance from previous postings on this board, I replaced the front dash speakers with a set of Infinity Kappa 32.7CF midrange/tweeters. When all was finished it got pretty late and I only had a few minutes in the car to "soak in" the upgrade. I soldered the crossovers and put the speakers back in the holes but nothing has been screwed down. My initital thought is that they are loud and overpowering; [I think] I can no longer hear the backup door and rears it's all about the dash. Loud and in your face, every time and all the time. Indeed the 32.7CF's, linked below, are a 95db 2 ohm speaker as opposed to the older 32.5CF's which are rated at 4 ohms. Others have suggested that the 4ohm cancels out due to the fact that the Kappa's are more efficient. I now have speakers of a lesser ohm rating than factory and also more efficient, am I right with my initial impression that these are just too loud?
I read Goran Laarsons Saab FAQ, many thanks to Goran for posting the H/K factory specs, and think that perhaps I can install a resistor inline to soak .5 ohm inline? I do not know much but I'd rather get this out of the way before I pad the xover (cover in shipping foam to prevent buzzing and rattles) and screw the speakers down.
Thank you for your time to read and an even bigger thank you if you choose to share your wisdom.
