Not sure how to post a picture? I will say, the lower control-arm, that's kind of shaped like an "A", has a ball-joint that fastens it to the bottom of the strut. The other end of the control-arm fastens to the frame through a couple of mounts with internal bushings. The rear bushing for the control arm has a stud coming through with a large nut on the end, facing the rear of the vheicle. The nut is supposed to conpress the bushing to the arm so they move as one assembly. On mine, the nut was loose so it was wiggling and shifting within the bushing. What I wasn't so sure about is the SAAB Tech hung his weight on the combination wrench as I watched the control arm twist and bow. I freaked out but he said it's fine. I would have thought using an impact wrench would have prevented the stress on the control arm? I only hope there aren't micro fractures that could show up later? At least I have CPO through 08/2008. The bummer about the whole deal is when I got my car back, there was oil and grease on the steering wheel, seat, carpet, door sill, door panel, etc. I had just detailed the interior over the weekend and had a lot of time into the project. I know if you get a Lexus serviced, the vehicle is completely detailed after the mechanics are done with their part. Why can't SAAB do a better job in this area?
