I am thinking of trading my '03 9-5 aero for an '06 or '07. I Like the higher front air dam...mine is constanly scraping on driveways etc. A few relatively small negatives...maybe more annoying than anything else.
They did away with the outer gas filler door lock from the inside. Anyone can open the door and have access to your tank. Gas cap is identical to the cheap plastic one of the 9-3.
They eliminated the W button mear the shiter on the atomatic. This put the tranny in 3rd and was helpful going up grades in snow etc. Now you have to put the shifter in M and use the paddles to put it into 3rd.
I have not been able to fully check this out, but a salesmen told me that the front rotors are smaller on the '06 and that although they were designed by Brembo they were not built by Brembo. I still have not driven one, but I have some complaints about the brakes here. The salesmen said the smaller rotors would mostly just reduce fade resistence. Hmmm.
