Have some carpet pulled back to look for flooding.

Some folks lease vehicles and never change the oil... then expect the manufacturer to repair or replace the engine. Getting the VC pulled for an inspection might be a good idea if you can't get service info. Owner's manual should have stamps for services and extra oil changes. No manual... ask why!

At 54K may not be original tires. Check to see if whats there is bogus or mismatched tires. Ditto on brakes. Everything else is not a wear issue at that point. I assume that this is an auto-boxen.

Sounds like a sweet deal, put in a bit of your money up front to check things out. Some 3rd party used vehicle warranties exclude a lot of things between the front and rear bumpers. And some 48K warranties do not apply after 54K. Find out what that means ?54+48K?

If you get the vehicle, plan on replacing the serpentine drive belt and small idler pulley at 60K.

Check for jack, jack lever, torx drivers. If wheel locks... the key. Vehicle should have TWO WORKING keys/remotes, owners manual, service manual, binder for all of that.

Check all electronics and seat functions, ACC, SID etc. Warranty may exclude certain electronic modules. I hope that this non-Saab dealer has not fitted any substitute spark plugs. Check that radio will play CDs. Is there a CD player in the trunk... that works?

If selling dealer changed the oil, you may want to change the oil right away yourself, and note what filter was used. Purolator PureOne PL 10241 is very good if doing yourself. Might be good to check that the oil drain plug has not been stripped or tightened to the point that that the pan is cracked. That can be backed out and checked out without removal and loss of oil.

Drive to detect pulling or out of balance wheels. Should get on boost with ease and hit the red line on the boost indicator.

If you buy it, note that the plugs were due to be replaced at 60K. Use a large (20 ounce) bottle of Techron Concentrate. Pull the DIC and read the date code. If original, some would be more comfortable with a new/spare DIC in the trunk (eeuroparts.com).
