I am so glad that I have this board and the ability to work on my own car... I have had some very unpleasant experiences with the local repair shops. The first place held my car for ransom wanting more money from my insurance company. The other place you have to make appointments out 3 weeks and if a bmw comes in they bump you... The dealership, well there is a story and a half... this time they left the front air sheild off the front underside of the car. I have tried to call them to see when I can get it relaced but they will not return my calls, and i travel for business so I have to make an appointment. I guess my biggest question is: there is a serious lack of good repair shops in my area that will work on my car, how hard is it to start my own and is it possibe to be an indie and get SAAB certified to do warrenty work? I have owned my own successful computer repair shop before going to europe and so I have some business experience, while not a whole lot.
