Here in US, you can have the car serviced anywhere and still enjoy the factory warranty as long as you have proof of that the service has been done to factory specs.
Doing it yourself will put more burden of proof on you so you need to have a good paper trail with receipts and so forth.
Saab have changed the wording about brake fluid change and now they say every 4 years, so it is not automatically included in the 30K interval service but you pay extra for it.
As long as the plugs you buy at another place is NGK PFR6H-10 you are good to go. If they try to sell you another brand of plugs, stay away.
The same service at an independant Saab shop would probably be below $200.00 including the plugs, full synthetic oil, rotate tires and brake fluid flush.
