As we research a purchase of a 95 wagon, I've come across an incredible deal on a 2002 95 Areo Wagon. I've also searched the archieve in detail on most towing discussions.
I was always told in my "youth" that towing with a turbo was a no-no. I"m guessing excessive load would mean excessive turbo use and burnt valves. Many on here might recommend the v6 as a better long haul tower but I"m curious to any comments on use the Aero.
How do the get the engine "hotter"? Does the Aero engine spend more time in boost?
I wouldn't tow much but when I would it would be 2000 mile trips with a light camper or jet ski. Obviously I would incur mountains or large hills somewhere. I'm not worried about the tranmission, just to much sustained boosting.
thoughts?
