In Dec of 2004 We bought a 2002 Arc (6cy) Auto Wagon with 20k mi. Now got 48 k. My wife (who is a very keen car person ... knows her stuff)is wild about this car. We got it for $18,000 ... (I believe the window sticker was in hi $30's). 2002 9-5's had many improvements and the mileage is 24 to 28. Just put on new tires and brakes still original and good for another 10k at least. The car has received scheduled maintenance only and not a flaw to report. But by FAR ... its best features are the Air Conditioned Leather seats and the Harmon Kardon system.
I drive a 2005 9-2x Linear stick / a great tool (I need awd) and fun too.
Best of Luck
