I followed up and put in the file complaint/request to SaabUSA. Never get anything unless you ask. They asked me all sort of customer Qs too like first Saab, first owner, etc. I'm a third Saab owner and being a fourth is now in jeapeordy. Of course the person taking the info is quite nice (good CS training). Also facts like just within last 30days this will amount to 3 repairs at dealer amounting to over $1500. This amounts to over $2000 just this year so far. She was interested in those facts so maybe that will help even though I stated those repairs are not in dispute as were reasonable. Any full or partial asst would make a world of difference. I find it just incredible that gas tanks crack!!! GAS TANKS!! it's not mechanical, not electronic, just metal that should sustain stress of a 5oz sensor mounted to it!! I'm an EE not ME or AutoE but seems pretty simple, gas tanks. no where near engine heat. no rust. This ain't no $35,000 Pinto! thanks for your responses. I'd like to stay Saab driver but I feel I'm getting priced squeezed out. Been Saab since college (1990). Nothing else since....
