We had a similar problem with our 01' 9-5 SE; it would refuse to turn-over or would turn-over and die immediately. It was refusing to start at random times; sometimes when it was cold and sometimes when it was hot. Sometimes the car would start with no problems at all. We had the DI replaced and the battery tested multiple times. It turns out that although the battery was good, it wasn't the right battery for the car. It worked fine for over a year and then decided to give us issues. The dealership installed the proper battery for the car and it has been working perfectly ever since.
Have you tried jumping the car? That is how we figured out that the problem was most likely electrical and the dealership then finally figured out we had the wrong battery.
