If they forgot to reset it, I think it will go away after a few days of driving around, provided that there isn't another problem.
However, like I said before, when my IDM crapped out on my V6 it ruined the catalytic converter from all the unburned fuel going through the exhaust system. If you're close to your dealer and it doesn't turn off then I would go back soon and have the codes read. If it's the catalytic converter, it's about $1200 (Saab payed for mine because the 2001's fall under the recall). You might get lucky if you call Saab and they'll pay, otherwise unless you're a real tree-hugger it's fine to drive around with a faulty catalytic converter. I drove it like that for a long time until I had to have it in for emissions.
