Wheel bearing, or bent wheel?

I've recently developed a speed-sensitive noise that was coming from the front end of my '01 9-5 2.3lpt sedan, 5MT. After a search yesterday here on the 9-5 BB, I decided that it was probably a front wheel bearing, but that a bent wheel couldn't be ruled out.
Last night I rotated the tires as a pat of the trouble-shootng process. When I took each tire off, I laid it flat on the garage floor to see whether it set flat to test for being bent. Sure enough, the LF wheel didn't sit flat on the floor, so I'm presuming the wheel is bent.
After the tire rotation, I took it for a test drive, and could still hear the vehicle-speed-dependent noise, but I can't tell whether it was coming from the front or the rear of the car... it's just tough to tell.
Is there a way to test the wheel to see if it is bent? For example, could a tire shop put it on a wheel balancer, or make another measurement to see if it's bent? I tried spinning the rear wheel with car jacked up, but visually I couldn't determine whether I was seeing any wheel deflection, or whether I was just seeing different levels of dirtiness on the tire.
Any feedback on how to definitively dtermine whether I have a bent wheel would be appreciated. Thanks-
KR
