This wagon can easily be made CPO given the age and mileage. You want to maximize the length of CPO so that you get the full 2 years of extended warranty. (I'm assuming that you won't reach 100K-miles limit any time soon.)

Just wondering, was it really a trade-in or lease-return? It can have a fairly inflated trade-in value since dealers are desperate to move new cars. If it is a lease return, it went back to Saab-lease and got auctioned off to dealers and non-dealers, presumably for a much lower value. Hence, dealers can have a higher margin on the resale. In any case, as I understand it only dealers can offer CPO, so you pay a premium for the having the privilege of getting the CPO in addition to the cost of CPO. My guess is that it adds $2k-$3k to the street price, at least in my area.

BTW, the rate 2.9% for 3 years last month, so they must have just lowered it. Do keep us posted.
