Aeros in snow

I'm thinking about buying an Aero, but need a car that handles well in snow. How does the Aero do in the snow? I'm assuming I would probably need a second set of wheels (16") with snows. Is this correct? Also, is there a difference in clearance between the base 9.5 and the Aero....what is it?
