I would have most concerns over possible engine sludging as that can get real expensive.
FYI - I purchased a 2002 SAAB Arc with CPO from a SAAB Dealer with 45K miles for $16k. That was last February. So far, approximately $3500 have been covered by the remainder of the factory warranty and CPO. Major items have been the turbocharger, SID, exhaust system, water pump, throttle body, battery, and radio. Only thing not covered so far has been the 4-wheel alignment ($80.00). The console assembly also cracked and is currently on order, no charge to me. What I'm trying to say is SAAB's can get real expensive, real fast, and I personally would only consider a vehicle with a CPO warranty. You could get lucky and have a great experience with the automobile you are currently considering but it could also go the other way?
